About Me
My path to Sorted
When I went back to work after having my first baby, I felt like a square peg in a round hole. I had changed, my priorities had shifted, and I no longer found meaning in what I was doing.
When I was pregnant with my second, I was determined to do things differently, and trained as a doula. But that wasn’t quite the right fit either. I missed using my organisational brain, my love of systems, and that feeling of helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
I returned to full time work but I knew I wanted the freedom to work for myself, to collaborate with clients who value balance and clarity, and to build something that allowed me to be there for my family, especially as we head into the school years.
Eventually, I realised I was on the right track. I wanted to support people, just not necessarily in birth.
Now, through Sorted by Laura, I combine my background in executive support and customer success with my passion for simplicity and tech to help small business owners get their time and headspace back.
Whether it’s refining workflows, automating repetitive tasks, or keeping day-to-day admin under control, I help make business feel a little lighter and a lot more Sorted.
About You
You started your business for the same reasons I did. You wanted to do what you love, create more flexibility in your days, and be there for your family. You wanted freedom, not more to juggle.
But somewhere along the way, things got messy. You’re slowed down by clunky systems, chasing invoices at 11pm, and sending the same manual emails over and over again.
You didn’t start your business to spend your time buried in admin and tech headaches. You started it for the passion, the people, and the purpose behind it all.
Something has to give, and that’s where I come in.
My Approach
I believe simplicity creates space - space for creativity, connection, and clarity.
My approach is calm, collaborative, and practical. I’ll meet you where you’re at, help untangle the overwhelm, and set you up with systems that make sense for how you actually work.
No jargon, no overcomplicating things; just tech that supports your business and gives you back time for the things that matter most.
